Introduction

Federated Farmers North Canterbury/Chatham Islands represents local farmers' views at fi ve district councils and one regional council.

Main Issues

The main issues in our province are to do with water usage, the basis on which rates are calculated and the way that the Resource Management Act is being interpreted.

Farm Day

Farm Day is part of the Federations national initiative to extend a welcoming hand to non farmers. During Farm Day farmers explain how they produce great food and care for their animals, removing some of the mystery from farming.
